چکیده
Accurately modeling the material behavior of paper and paperboard is proven to be highly demanding. Most difficulties arise from pronounced anisotropic nature material. Additionally, differences in in-plane out-of-plane as well non-isochoric plasticity, which affects elastic behavior, further deepen issue at hand. Therefore, an model proposed, capable capturing elasto-plastic paperboard. The constitutive framework was derived a thermodynamically consistent manner, valid for finite deformations, accounting coupling behavior. influence orthotropic anisotropy on response introduced through concept structural tensors. A slight generalization part free energy made order incorporate densification effect. known yield criterion modified account some inconsistencies. Non-isotropic hardening considered by defining set coupled internal variables. model's capabilities were demonstrated simulating process folding creasing.

Approaches to the Description of Anisotropic Material Behaviour at Finite Elastic and Plastic Deformations
The present work deals with purely macroscopic descriptions of anisotropic material behaviour. Key aspects are new developments in the theory and numerics of anisotropic plasticity. After a short discussion of the classification of solids by symmetry transformations a survey about representation theory of isotropic tensor functions and tensor polynomials is given. Next alternative macroscopic a...

Paper materials have a long history of use in packaging products, although traditional paper-based packaging is limited in its shape and design. In order to enable more advanced paper-based packaging, various 3-D forming processes for paper materials have been studied. Since 3-D forming processes typically include the application of moisture and/or temperature, the effects of moisture and tempe...
متن کاملSublimation inside an elastoplastic material.
Thermodynamic and kinetic approaches for sublimation inside elastoplastic material under tensile stress are developed for large strains. Various conceptual problems related to irreversible plastic deformation are addressed for a spherical bubble. They include definitions of the thermodynamic driving forces and activation energies, nontraditional concepts of a critical nucleus, path dependence o...
متن کاملDeformations of Finite Conformal Energy: Boundary Behavior and Limit Theorems
We study homeomorphisms h : X onto −→ Y between two bounded domains in Rn having finite conformal energy E[h] = ∫ X ||Dh(x) || n dx < ∞ , h ∈ W (X,Y). We consider the behavior of such mappings, including continuous extension to the closure of X and injectivity of h : X → Y. In general, passing to the weak W 1,n-limit of a sequence of homeomorphisms hj : X → Y one loses injectivity. However, if ...
